UK Property Portals Quick To Integrate Google Street View
FindaProperty.com was the first UK property portal to integrate Google Street View (on the day it was launched 19. March 2009), and just a week later 2 more portals follow!
Primelocation.com has just added Google Street View to their listings allowing renters see properties from the street level as well as from aerial imagery from Microsoft’s Bird’s Eye View.
Zoopla integrates Google Street View. Just click on the button above the map and zoom to the street inside the listing.

I wish all of these property dump sites were as quick to update their property listings as they are to adopt map street views! Trovit is easily the worst, but most of these sites are packed full with listings that are nowhere near still available. Trovit itself has got to be at least 75% of the listings are gone and no mention of “Let”. It would only take someone a day to clear out a good chunk of the old listings. It’s quite frustrating…
Yes the problem with most of these sites Jim is that they’re just receiving feeds from the “proper” portals of they’re just crawling and taking the data.
Because they are not the website with the relationship with the agent they will in turn be less responsive removing sold or let property. For the same reason they will also carry a great number of duplications.
