Who’s Your Tenant?
A glamorous conwoman is facing jail time for various scams that included tricking landlords into renting her luxurious flats in Belgravia, Chelsea, Mayfair, and Canary Wharf, reports MailOnline. For the past 7 years, she has lived rent free in more than 10 £2,000per month apartments around London. She still owes £25,000 in unpaid rent to four landlords.
“Very wealthy people don’t like to be questioned about whether they can support a cheque. It is a world that largely has to act on trust and she knows how to exploit that trust,” said a detective to TimesOnline.
